ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay believes that controlling gun laws can bring gun crime rates down. 

Mayor Slay and Kansas City Mayor Sylvester James will push for tighter gun control laws on the state level when legislators return to Jefferson City.
