FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The continuing unrest in Ferguson is creating tremendous hardships for businesses, and workers, near the affected area.

Some of the businesses seeing the most dramatic loss in revenue are the ones near the area where the largest crowds form every night, on West Florissant Avenue.

Employees of a wireless technology store in West Florissant are learning to live with less. They’re working fewer hours because businesses are closed at 4:00 p.m., when Missouri State Highway Patrol officers shut down West Florissant.
