NORTH, St. Louis (KMOV.com) -- Firefighters responded to a house fire early Tuesday morning in north St. Louis.
Officials report firefighters arrived at the 5300 block of Wabada and Chester around 6 a.m. and encountered heavy smoke coming from a residence.
Authorities later determined the house was vacant.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
