Suspects sought after 4 burglaries over 2-day span in Madison County

(KMOV) – Authorities are searching for suspects in four separate burglaries in Madison County they say may be connected.

 

The first burglary happened on Wednesday when the suspect broke into a home in the 5000 block of Hoxey Drive in Alhambra and stole a 32-inch Samsung TV.

That same day, a home in the 12000 block of Mills Road in New Douglas was broken into and a black Compaq laptop was stolen. The suspect then fled the scene.

A third burglary happened Wednesday when a suspect broke into a garage in the first block of Deer Run East in Pocahontas and stole a Craftsman wheel barrel, a socket set and several power tools.

On Thursday, deputies said someone went into an unlocked vehicle in the first block of Deer Run East and stole jewelry, a credit card and other personal items.

The Madison County’s Sheriff’s Office said have gotten surveillance images of a person of interest captured on security cameras inside a Collinsville business.

Deputies said the suspect appears to be a young white male or female with a thin build. He or she was wearing jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
