Armed robbery suspect crashes vehicle, shots himself in north St. Louis
(KMOV.com) – A suspect was hospitalized after crashing his vehicle and shooting himself following an armed robbery in Florissant Wednesday morning.
According to police, the suspect was armed when he entered a US Bank in the 2200 block of North 67.
Following the robbery, police spotted the suspect’s vehicle and attempted to stop him. The suspect hit the bridge overpass and crashed at Interstate 270 and Lindbergh in Hazelwood.
The suspect then shot himself.
The suspect was taken to an area hospital and is listed in an unknown condition.
