(KMOV.com) – Wednesday’s storms and high-velocity winds caused significant damage at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in St. Louis County.

Airport Administrator Sydney Hirsch said there was damage to the administration building and a hangar.

The administration building had two holes ripped in the roof after two two-ton air conditioner were torn off the roof by the wind.

With the holes in the roof, rain poured in causing water damage.

The roof of a hangar was peeled back by the storm as well. The airport was operating Thursday. No one was injured.
