President Obama defends surveillance: "It is transparent"

(CBS News) In a wide-ranging interview for PBS's "Charlie Rose," President Obama defended the government's use of secret surveillance of phone calls and e-mails. The president insists the National Security Agency's work is necessary and not invasive.
