CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (AP) -- A new bridge carrying Interstate 64 traffic over the Missouri River will begin in February, and the bridge should be ready in less than two years.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the timeline was released Tuesday for the new span of the Daniel Boone Bridge that connects St. Louis and St. Charles counties along I-64. It will replace the older, westbound span of the bridge, built in 1935.
The $111 million project is expected to be finished by November 2014.
