FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo (KMOV.com) -- Construction will begin tonight on I-44 in Franklin County for the new Route 100 bridge replacement project.
MoDOT is shutting down lanes overnight in both the westbound and eastbound lanes.
Westbound I-44 will be completely closed between the Gray Summit and Washington exits.
MoDOT will also periodically shut down the eastbound lanes of I-44 between those exits as well.
Motorists are urged to use I-270 to Route 30 and vice versa to avoid delays. MoDOT expects to be off all westbound lanes by 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.
