(KMOV.com) -- MoDOT will be performing maintenance on many area roadways, ramps and bridges this weekend and with all the events going on around St. Louis, MoDOT is asking for patience in the transition.

--On Saturday night, the Moonlight Ramble event will have most of the ramps on I-64 downtown closed from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Sunday.

--UPDATE: On Southbound Interstate 270 between I-44 and Gravois Road, work occured this weekend to return the lanes back to original striping. Crews closed lanes Friday night to re-stripe the highway. Various lanes were closed over the weekend, but all lanes have been returned to normal and traffic is moving freely.

--The right lane on southbound I-170 at Frost Avenue closed Friday night and reopens by 5 a.m. Monday.

--In Jefferson County, MoDOT will perform asphalt paving repairs on Route Z at the Interstate 55 interchange Friday evening.  Crews will close various lanes on Route Z near Pevely from Friday evening until noon on Saturday.  Crews will also close the northbound I-55 entrance ramp from Route Z and the southbound I-55 exit ramp onto Route Z.

Also in Jefferson County, MoDOT will perform asphalt pavement repairs on southbound I-55 at the BNSF railroad bridge, north of Route Z starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday.  Crews will shorten the I-55 exit ramp to Route Z until 10 a.m. on Sunday.  Motorists will still be able to access the exit ramp during this time frame.

--In St. Charles County crews will close the Route B bridge over Dardenne Creek for 50 days, starting on Monday.  Workers will remove and replace the bridge surface as well as re-paint the bridge.  Drivers will be able to use Route 94, Route 370, Interstate 70 or Route C as a detour.

--In St. Louis, MoDOT will be restricting trucks over 24 feet in length on the eastbound Interstate 70/Broadway exit ramp (249c) on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.  MoDOT is working in partnership with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, City of St. Louis and the St. Louis Rams to ensure public safety during the pre-season football events.  There may be traffic back-ups in that area, so motorists are urged to use alternate routes.

--MoDOT had planned on closing two westbound lanes on the Poplar Street Bridge from 9 p.m. on Friday to 3 p.m. on Saturday, but that closure has been canceled.

MoDOT also canceled the closure of the eastbound I-70 ramp to the Poplar Street Bridge from Friday at 11 p.m. to noon on Saturday.  The cancelations were issued due to possible inclement weather.

MoDOT still plans on closing the northbound I-55 entrance ramp to the Poplar Street Bridge from 11 p.m., Saturday until noon on Sunday.
