(KMOV.com) -- The Illinois Department of Transportation announced on Thursday that one lane will be closed on southbound Route 203 onto westbound Interstate 55/70 in Madison, effective immediately.
IDOT explains that the lane restriction is necessary to construct the new ramps leading to relocated I-70.
The work prompting the lane closure is expected to be complete by December, 2012.
