Granite City, Illinois (KMOV.com) – Traffic is rolling this afternoon following a two vehicle accident on the Illinois side of the I-270 Chain of Rocks Bridge.
The accident happened just after noon Monday in the east bound lanes.
The view from SkyZoom 4 indicates that a tractor trailer smashed into the back of a small car. The entire back half of the car appears to have gone under the semi.
There are no serious injuries reported.
The accident resulted in a long traffic back up back across bridge and well into Missouri.
The Authorities managed to clear the accident around 2 p.m.
