SHILOH, Il. (KMOV) – One of the busiest intersections in the Metro East will soon be closed for two months for a road expansion project.

St. Clair County officials tell News 4 that crews will close lanes to widen North Green Mount Road at Interstate 64 to four lanes this summer.

Officials say the $1 million project to the north and south sides of North Green Mount Road will take 75 days to complete once work begins in July.
