ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A woman was hospitalized after a semi-truck t-boned her car on Interstate 64 near Forest Park Monday morning.
A woman's vehicle suffered heavy damage to the passenger side when it was struck by the semi-truck on the interstate between Hampton Avenue and Kingshighway Boulevard around 9:45 a.m.
The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police closed all lanes of eastbound I-64 at Hampton Avenue and diverted traffic off the interstate at the Hampton exit. At one point, traffic was backed up to Interstate 170.
The interstate was opened back up by about 11 a.m.
The cause of the wreck has not been determined.
