| Recommended Severe thunderstorms knock out power for thousands

(KMOV) -- There will be no classes today for students at Meadows Elementary School in the Riverview Gardens district.
Thursday night's storms knocked out power across the area and that school is one of the places with no electricity.
About 4,600 homes and businesses are still without power.
