Truck crashes through second-floor wall of downtown St. Louis parking garage
05:48 PM CDT on Thursday, August 21, 2008
(KMOV) -- Building inspectors say a parking garage connected to a downtown Drury Inn is safe, despite a startling incident overnight.
Around 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, a pickup truck crashed into a wall inside the garage and left a gaping hole in the side of the building.
The garage is right across the street from the Edward Jones Dome in downtown St. Louis and is a place where Drury Inn guests often park.
While there was a big mess, no one was seriously hurt.
