St. Louis (KMOV) -- Emergency crews across the St. Louis area responded to storm related damage after a series of powerful storms rolled through the St. Louis area on Friday afternoon. News 4 received eight unofficial reports of tornadoes in the area.

There is a slight chance of rain Saturday morning and it should be a hot day with a high temperature around 90 degrees.

Be prepared for standing water on the road ways as there has been a lot of flash flooding.
