Police: Man shot step-daughter during argument

(KMOV) -- St. Louis police are investigating a shooting in south city.
According to police, a man shot his step-daughter during an argument.
Police are not releasing many details in this case, but some people in the neighborhood say it all started with an argument.
News 4 arrived on the scene just moments after the shooting.
When our crew arrived, investigators were combing the area in the 4500 block of Nebraska and a young woman was on the ground with a gun shot wound to the head.
The incident happened around noon on Monday.
Police believe the victim's step-father may have shot her in the forehead.
A man riding his bike down the street says he saw the two arguing and was shocked to see what had happened.
At this time the victim’s condition is not known.
