Accused teacher, Teresa Engelbach

(KMOV) -- The Herculaneum teacher accused of sexually abusing one of her students is now free on bond.

Police say Teresa Engelbach surrendered and posted a $25,000 bond.

The 21-year-old substitute teacher is charged with having sex with a 14-year-old boy she taught in the Dunklin school district.

She was charged last week but not taken into custody because she was hospitalized for an unknown illness.
