(KMOV)- The foreclosure rate is on the rise across the nation.

Every 3 months in this country, 250 new families enter foreclosure.

There is help, but many families aren't acting fast enough.

Marty and Pat Brisco fell behind in their payments after Marty suffered two strokes and couldn't work.

They turned to Beyond Housing for help and saved their house.

Chris Krehmeyer from Beyond Housing said it is imperative that homeowners ask for help the minute they see trouble.
