Union police said papers belonging to Marsch were found on a nearby picnic table, and it appeared she was working on them when she went missing.
Friends told police Marsch, 53, of Union, Mo., would not voluntarily leave her dog behind.
Marsch stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. Police believe she was wearing a wig when she went missing.
Police asked anyone with information on the woman’s whereabouts to call 636-583-3700 or 636-583-2560.
