Man shot to death while driving car in Berkeley | Blog

(KMOV) -- Berkeley police are investigating the death of a man who was shot while driving his car.
It happened on Thursday around 11:15 p.m. in the 6440 block of N. Hanley Rd.
Police say that Kerry Wooten, 28, was driving northbound when shots were fired at his vehicle.
Wooten lost control of his car, crossed two lanes of traffic and hit an embankment.
Authorities say that Wooten died from two gunshot wounds.
Police are not sure if there was one person or a group of people involved in the shooting. They also don’t know if the shots were fired from a vehicle or if the shooter was on foot.
Anyone with information in this case is asked to call Berkeley police.
