(KMOV) -- Police say the broken ribs of a 9-week-old baby were allegedly caused by John Cravens, 27, of Troy, Ill.

Authorities sat the 9-week-old suffered multiple rib fractures in May.
Cravens is now behind bars and faces charges of aggravated battery of a child.
