RICHMOND, Mo. (AP) -- A man whose wife and daughter disappeared from their western Missouri home in 1986 has been arrested in Arkansas.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 67-year-old Ronald D. Wrisinger was arrested Wednesday at his home in Marble Hills, Ark., on two counts of first-degree murder.
Forty-year-old Sherry K. Wrisinger and 16-year-old Johnna D. Wrisinger disappeared on June 6, 1986, from their home in Richmond and have not been seen or heard from since. Richmond is about 45 northeast of Kansas City.
Ronald Wrisinger waived extradition in Arkansas and will be returned to Missouri.
