ST.LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The Imo’s family has donated $10,000 to the St. Louis Regional Crime Stoppers after a pizza delivery driver, David Matthews, was shot and killed during a delivery in south St. Louis.

Right now it does not appear police have any strong leads.

"We're hopeful the increased reward will also give us increased tips, and more tips the better for officers that have to do the investigation," said Lisa Pisciotta of CrimeStoppers.

Matthews died Monday due to injuries sustained when he was shot delivering pizza on the Fourth of July. Police found the 31-year-old with two gunshot wounds to his neck in the 3900 block of Potomac.

The owner of CD Warehouse in south St. Louis County said Matthews worked there full time during the day and delivered pizzas at night.

“We are completely saddened by the loss of one of their employee. We want to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Matthews,” said Carl Imo, President of Imo’s Pizza.

If you have any information relating to this crime, call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS.

There are rewards if a call leads to an arrest. But, you do not have to give your name when you call CrimeStoppers.
