ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The Gateway Arch grounds will officially reopen July 3!

The $380 million renovations have been underway for several years, and soon locals and tourists will be able to enjoy it in its full glory.

The reopening coincides with Fair St. Louis returning to the Arch grounds on July 4, 6 and 7.

A ceremony and day of celebration is planned for the Arch reopening.

Tuesday, July 3, at 10 a.m., there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the West Entrance. Cardinals Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith will host. Then, the museum will be open to the public.

The Normandy High School marching band will lead a public procession from the new Gateway Arch West entrance to the North Gateway for a family-friendly party, which will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be food trucks, games, live music, and more. Organizers are also giving away a special coin commemorating the historic event and cookies.

There will be road closures downtown St. Louis throughout the week for the grand re-opening and Fair St. Louis. You can monitor them via https://www.fairsaintlouis.org/map-directions/

There is also a new tool to help you navigate a visit to the Arch. The Gateway Arch Park Foundation recently launched an app. It shows you downtown parking options, a link to buy tickets to the top, an event calendar, a Gateway Arch-themed photo filter, and more.
