Gov. Parson's 'Listening Tour' to stop in St. Louis Wednesday

ST. LOUIS ( -- New Missouri Governor Mike Parson begins a state-wide listening tour Tuesday.

The governor plans to make nine stops across the state and will meet with community leaders at each stop.

“In order to govern effectively and to begin the process of moving our state forward, it is important to take the time to listen and understand different types of challenges that face our communities,” Parson said in a statement.

Tuesday, the tour begins in Springfield before heading to Branson, Carthage, St. Joseph and Kansas City.

Wednesday he will stop at the University of Missouri before heading to Gordonville, Sikeston and St. Louis.
