MONROE COUNTY, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Monroe County Sheriff Neal Rohlfing is holding a gun raffle.

Sheriff Rohlfing posted the raffle to his Facebook page Monday morning. In the post, he wrote there are only 500 tickets available for the raffle but if there are over 400 tickets sold there will be a second gun raffle.

The American Tactical Road Agent 12-gauge is inscribed with “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” and “Riding shotgun with the sheriff.”

“If you are interested in standing with me and the 2nd Amendment private message me for a ticket or visit my website,” read a portion of the Facebook post.

The post states that tickets are $10 and a winner will be drawn on July 25.

Rohlfing was elected sheriff in December 2014. According to his campaign website, Rohlfing is currently running for re-election.
