Violent weekend leaves 2 dead, 7 injured in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

St. Louis Metropolitan Police are investigating a weekend of violence that occurred between Saturday night and Sunday.

A man in his late 30s was shot in the foot just before 10 p.m. in the 5200 block of Goodfellow. Officers said he was conscious and breathing upon arrival.

The second shooting happening around 10:15 p.m. near St. Louis Avenue and Clara. A man showed up to an area hospital with three gunshot wounds. He was conscious and breathing. The victim’s condition at this time is unavailable.

A man was shot one time and grazed two other times in the 5300 block Oriole around midnight. The victim was found conscious and breathing when police arrived.

The victim is expected to be okay.

Around 2:30 a.m., a man and woman were located with multiple gunshot wounds on westbound Interstate 64 near Grand.

Both victims were found conscious and breathing. They are in stable condition.

Investigators found a 23-year-old  Tyrie Seagraves shot to death inside a North County apartment earlier Sunday morning.  Seagraves was found around 4 a.m. in the 2100 block of Empire Court.

Just before 2 p.m., homicide detectives were investigating the suspicious death of a man in the 7900 block of Church. Further details are yet known.

A man was shot before 5 p.m. near Martin Luther King and Euclid. He was conscious and breathing.

Police responded to the 3500 block of Miami before 8 p.m. after a 44-year-old woman was shot in the back. The woman's condition is unknown but she was found conscious and breathing by officers.
