ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Employees from Anheuser-Busch spent Friday cleaning up waterways at the Columbia Bottoms Conservation Area.

The company announced planned watershed cleanups in April, part of the company’s 2025 sustainability goals.

The event took place Friday afternoon at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers and employees cleaned trash from the river both on foot and by boat.

According to the company, AB has removed nearly one million pounds of trash from the country’s waterways.
