VILLA RIDGE, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A Franklin County man, previously under arrest for assault, is facing additional charges after damaging a patrol car, police said.

Police responded to a domestic assault call in the 100 block of Sleepy Court in Villa Ridge, in Franklin County, Friday. The victim told police she was assaulted by her live-in boyfriend, 24-year-old Dakota Durbin. Police say the victim had marks and injuries that were consistent with her statement.

Durbin ran from the residence before police arrived, but was located several hours later by deputies and taken into custody.

While in the patrol car, Durbin damaged computer and camera equipment inside of the vehicle, police say.

According to police, a second-degree domestic assault charge has been filed and Durbin is being held at $15,000 bond while property damage charges are pending.
