CREVE COEUR, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The director of the Junior School at Priory has been removed from his roles at the school after 'inappropriate images' were found on his school laptop, according to a letter from the school.

In a letter sent by the Headmaster Father Gregory Mohrman, Father Maximilian Toczylowski was removed from his role with the school after pictures were located during a routine review of electronic devices used by the school staff.

The images were downloaded from the internet and the content was not associated with the school, according to school officials.

Father Toczylowski was also removed from the Saint Louis Abbey campus while the incident is being investigated.

The letter noted that the school nor Saint Louis Abbey have received any allegations of inappropriate behavior by Toczylowski.

Counselor-facilitated sessions for parents will be held Monday to discuss the incident with their sons.

News 4 is working to get more details surrounding this incident.
