Police say Shiloh home invasion was not random

SHILOH, Ill. (KMOV.com) – The Shiloh Police Department is investigating a home invasion that was reported during the early morning hours Monday, an incident that police believe was not random.

Officials with the department said they were called to the 2000 block of Blue Springs Court after a home invasion occurred around 1:30 a.m.

According to police, the suspect entered the home through an unlocked door and threatened the residents with a handgun. He reportedly took several items from the home.

No one was harmed during the incident.

Police describe the man was 6-foot tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing glasses, all black clothing and had a mask over his face at the time of the home invasion.

Police say the suspect mentioned that he had an issue with someone who is associated with the home.
