ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A double shooting in north St. Louis left a car riddled with bullets and two people hospitalized overnight.

A man and woman showed up an area hospital just before 11 p.m. Sunday after being shot. After arriving at the hospital, they told police a suspect in a dark-colored Buick fired shots at them while they were in the 1200 block of Walton. 

Shortly after the shooting, a News 4 photographer saw a vehicle with numerous bullet holes in the parking lot of a White Castle in the area of Natural Bridge and North Kingshighway. 

The man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. The woman was shot in the back. Both victims were listed as stable. 

No other details have been released.
