LAKE ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police in Lake St. Louis said a puppy that was reported missing earlier has been returned.

Thursday, police asked for help identifying two women who were seen on surveillance video who might be connected to the missing 9-week-old Pomeranian. Officials said the missing puppy requires ongoing medication for an upper respiratory infection.

Friday morning, police said the puppy had been returned by one of the women who was spotted on surveillance video.

It was the same store where a man shoved a $250 pearl island boa constrictor in his pants and walked out several years ago.

The dog that was stolen is valued at $2,800 which means felony stealing charges could be filed.
