ST. CHARLES COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

A St. Charles County woman is facing multiple investigations for allegedly putting her children in danger.

Jessica Patterson is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Court documents say her 1-year-old daughter was taken to the hospital because she was having a seizure. The baby tested positive for meth.

Authorities say Patterson admitted to going to her neighbor’s home to use meth. She said she did not wash her hands and then touched items that belong to the baby including blankets and a bottle, court documents say.

A week prior, O’Fallon, Mo. police arrested her at Home Depot where she was passed out in the car and her 3-year-old was wandering in the parking lot.

Police said the child was not hurt and added that they are seeking charges in that case too.

The Missouri Division of Family Services has three open investigations into Patterson, police say.
