ST. CLAIR, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Police in St. Clair, Mo. arrested a 59-year-old man Sunday night after he was driving his motorcycle through the front yard of a local establishment.

According to police, the officer pulled over Michael Hawkins of Sullivan, Mo. and asked him why he was driving through the grass of the Knights of Columbus Hall along Route 66. Hawkins stated that he did not have a license and his motorcycle was not licensed so he didn’t want to drive on the road.

The officer checked Hawkins' record, discovering he had active warrants for his arrest.

Hawkins is being held by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department on a $4,500 bond.
