St. Louis jury acquits man accused of making terrorist threat at Planned Parenthood

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A St. Louis jury has acquitted a pro-life activist who was accused of making a terrorist threat at a Planned Parenthood.

John Ryan was accused of telling an employee at the clinic, located in the 4200 block of Forest Park Avenue, that there were seven bombs in the building on December 31, 2016. Ryan was arrested at the scene and held for 35 hours before being released on bond.

The trial lasted for three days and a jury, which consisted of eight women and four men, deliberated for about an hour before reaching its not guilty verdict on Wednesday.
