DE SOTO, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 16-year-old died after a late-night crash in De Soto Tuesday.

Lillian Flath was a passenger in a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero when the fatal crash occurred around 11:55 p.m. on northbound South Second Street at AmVets Drive.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Oldsmobile, which was being driven by an 18-year-old, ran a stop sign and traveled into the path of a 1995 Chevrolet 1500. The front of the Chevrolet hit the right rear of the Oldsmobile, causing it to rotate and hit a parked 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
