BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

Two men are accused of robbing a man whose car had broken down in Belleville.

Joshua Branch, 19, of East St. Louis, and Paul Graham, 22, of Cahokia, are each charged with armed robbery with a firemarm.

Police said around 2:20 a.m. Monday, a man’s car broke down on Route 13 near Sheffield Drive. He was walking eastbound on Route 13, when a gold Ford Mustang with Branch and Graham inside pulled in front of him and stopped.

A passenger then got out of the Mustang and held a gun to the man’s head and demanded that he turn over what he had on him.

Police said the suspect ran back to the Mustang with the victim’s wallet, keys and cell phone.

The victim flagged down an officer. Officers later stopped the Mustang and arrested Branch and Graham.
