ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) -- The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to Wednesday's game against the Twins that right-handed pitcher Luke Gregerson was placed on the disabled list with aright shoulder impingement. As a result, they recalled John Brebbia.
Gregerson, 34, worked 1/3 of an inning in relief last night, allowing a pair of runs.
The Cardinals have had four pitchers go on the disabled list in the past week: Carlos Martínez (right lat strain), Tyler Lyons (mid back strain), Adam Wainwright (right elbow inflammation) and now Gregerson.
