ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Air pollution in the St. Louis Area has improved in recent years, but still lags compared to the rest of the country.

According to last month’s “State of the Air” report by the American Lung Association, the city received a “C” for ozone pollution.

Grades actually worsened in the areas farther to the west. St. Louis County received an “F” grade. St. Charles County also received a failing assessment.
