ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A senior prank prompted a call to police at a school in Grand Center Thursday afternoon.

Police said they received a call about a large group of teens throwing eggs at Miller Career Academy around 2:20 p.m.

Police said when officers arrived, they saw 100 to 150 students with water balloons, squirt guns, and eggs, something that was part of a senior prank.

Aid call went out and additional officers responded to the scene. The call was then canceled.

A spokesperson for St. Louis Public Schools said officers used mace outside the school. Police said an 18-year-old was summonsed and released.

Officers seized water balloons and paint, St. Louis Public Schools said. A News 4 cameraman on the scene said there are broken eggs at the school.
