Man, 75, with dementia found safe after he went missing

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The St. Louis County Police Department has cancelled an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing 75-year-old man with dementia.

Police say around 12:30 p.m. he was found safe. 

Walter Smith was last seen at 2380 Grand River Rd in St. Louis around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Smith is about 6’1”, 210 pounds, has gray hair, and was wearing gray sweat pants.

He was with a family member before he went missing and was discovered missing at 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

His family says he does not have a cell phone, bus pass, or cash money in his possession.
