ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Ahead of the governor's expected appearance in court, security is ramping up at the downtown courthouse.

Whether you have business at the courthouse or not, this trial is going to affect you if you come downtown.

11th street by the building will be reserved and blocked off for media and barriers are already getting set to go up.

Security will be enforced per usual at the courthouse by the sheriff's department but also the governor's security will be present.

There will around 50-60 spots for the public to watch the trail, and it will be first come first serve. The sheriff's department said it will be business as usual- there will be other hearings and court proceedings going on- but there could be a a delay going through the metal detectors, so something to keep in mind if you have business here next week.
