JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The Missouri legislature has unanimously passed a bill that would name part of Gravois Road after slain St. Louis County Officer Blake Snyder.

The state senate approved the bill 31-0 on Tuesday. The state house passed the measure 145-0 in March.

Snyder was fatally shot while responding to a disturbance call in Green Park in October 2016.

Trenton Forster is charged in connection with Snyder’s death.

A St. Louis County Park was renamed in honor of Snyder in November 2016.

The bill heads to the desk of Missouri Gov Eric Greitens for his signature.
