DES PERES, Mo.(KMOV.com) – Emergency crews are on the scene after a St. Louis County police cruiser was involved in a crash Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred around 9 a.m. on Dougherty Ferry Road at Des Peres Road, near St. Luke's Des Peres Hospital, according to the Des Peres Police Department. Officials told News 4 a driver failed to yield while attempting to turn and cut off an officer, at which time the collision occurred. Four cars were reportedly involved in the crash. 

Skyzoom4 was over the scene after the crash occurred and saw a white SUV and a police cruiser that had each sustained front-end damage. 

Minor-to-moderate injuries have been reported. The officer reportedly sustained a minor injury in the crash.

Other details regarding the crash have not been released.
