3 Cards leave Saturday’s game due to injuries

ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) -

Three Cardinals exited Saturday’s game against the Cubs due to injury.

Center fielder Tommy Pham and catcher Yadier Molina were taken out due to groin injuries. 

Pham left in the second inning with right groin tightness in the second inning. Molina took a foul tip to the groin on pitch from Jordan Hicks that topped 100 MPH.

Norris left in the 10th inning.

The injuries come one day after reliever Dominic Leone suffered bicep cramps while throwing warm up tosses.
