LINCOLN COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

Lincoln County authorities have charged two women with second-degree burglary after they were caught by police taking tools and surveillance cameras from a home Tuesday afternoon

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a homeowner who said his surveillance system alerted his phone that there was suspicious activity around his home.

When police arrived at the home, located in the first block of Davis Lane just off Highway 47 between Troy and Winfield, they quickly located 35-year-old Amber Brazell and 32-year-old Elizabeth Paulsen in the homes garage.

While searching Paulsen, deputies discovered prescription medications, surveillance cameras and a methamphetamine glass pipe. The homeowner identified the surveillance cameras as his.

Brazell and Paulsen are both charged with second-degree burglary. Paulsen is also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

Brazell is being held on a $15,000 cash only bond while Paulsen is being held on a $10,000 cash only bond.
