ARNOLD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Two 18-year-olds were arrested after arguing with a manager at an Arnold drive-thru on April 10.

An Arnold man was driving a Camaro with a St. Louis man in the passenger seat when they arrived at the Steak ‘n Shake in the Arnold Crossroad complex at 9:50 p.m. While waiting for their food at the drive-thru window, the driver continuously revved up the car’s engine, officials said. When a Steak ‘n Shake employee told the man to stop revving the engine, the Arnold man reportedly ignored the request and continued to do so until they were given their food.

After getting their food, the St. Louis man cursed at the employee, at which time a manager told the two men to leave, which they refused to do because they didn’t a spoon, according to officials. The manager then threatened to call the police.

According to court documents, the driver of the Camaro then pointed to the St. Louis County Police apparel he was wearing and told the manager: “I am the police.”

The two men in the car were taken into custody after an Arnold officer pulled them over in the Steak ‘n Shake parking lot. The teen from Arnold was charged with trespassing, impersonating a police officer and disturbing the peace. The St. Louis teen was arrested for disturbing the peace and trespassing.

While booking the Arnold teen, officers reportedly found out he was also wanted in St. Louis County for burglary.
